A very passionate and persevering bunch. Though the training was

rigorous with physical exercise and meditation, they seen it through

and took to shiatsu and reflexology like a fish to water. Each student

fondly took their areas of specialty such as: shoulder-neck-face-head

shiatsu, full body shiatsu, and hand and feet reflexology.

The students excelled in subjects that concerned the treatment of

acute conditions. Each of the nine trainees have found their niche as

never witnessed before in other batches.

NIVH presented a business kit to each of the 9 to assist them in being

enterprising entrepreneurs and suitable employment as the case

maybe.

Client Feedback

I did not think much about reflexology

until I accidentally tried it in your class.

Now, I would like to mention that my leg

problem has totally disappeared after 3

sittings. This is certified by my daughter Dr.Manju, Siddha. - Mrs.Maggi,

Independent Life Skills Trainer, NIVH

I had been bed-ridden for nearly 10 long

years. My husband took care of me for

such a long time. I could not move due

to severe backache. My blind son

joined the course at NIVH and he

recommended reflexology to me. In just

2 sittings, I am now able to walk and

work as a normal person. –

Mariammal, age 66, Tirunelveli

My son was suffering from acute cough

and on another occasion with stomach

ache. Reflexology gave instant relief to my 9 year old son. - Srividhya

What they have to say?

I was married when I lost my sight all of a sudden. I had my own Men ’s

Parlor and overnight I lost everything as I was blinded. Now, I have

regained my confidence in life and happy to see so many people come

to me for treatment. I thank NIVH for this wonderful opportunity and

hope more people like me make the most of this course – S.Selvakumar, Chennai

I finished my P.G. and was advised to take up teaching as my

profession. I took up reflexology course as I always wanted to work with

people and help them. This course has changed my life and I want to

be only a reflexologist. I hope more blind people will learn this course and live their lives meaningful.– T.U.Shalu, Kozhikode

I used to sell peanut burfy (candy) in trains as I did not have anything

else to do due to blindness. I took up reflexology after hearing of this

course through my friends. In just 3 months, even before I could finish

my course, my friends who used to call me by the nick name of ‘burfy

kumar’ now address me with respect and love for the healing I am able

to do through reflexology. – V. Rajesh Kumar, Chennai

I am a pranic healer and very interested with energy treatment.

I was employed at a hospital in Kerala. I heard of this reflexology course

at NIVH and immediately resigned my job to learn it. Now, I am very

happy for this decision for I am able to heal with confidence and have

developed my own style. Hope the news spread about this reflexology course at NIVH. – A.K.Prajil, Kannur

For nearly 40 years I lived indoors. I don’t know this world. My father

and my wife looked after me. I have a child. I knew I was a burden to

my family as I did not earn a single rupee for my family which I love so

much. . Everything has changed now, after joining this course. I am

confident to earn a living with reflexology. Thank the Govt, NIVH for this – S.Balasubramanian, Tirunelveli
