THERMAL RESISTANCE GUIDE

This chart provides very general guidelines, but it must be remembered that glove resistance is affected by other factors that will effect the glove such as ambient temperature, exposure time, moisture, quality of raw materials etc. Therefore, we recommend a primary test be done if any gloves are to be used in hazardous thermal conditions outside of this 8-70°C range.

Specific details for each glove should be requested, particularly if the user will work for any time outside the 8 - 70° Celsius range or if molten metals present sub-zero temperatures etc. are within the application as various factors will affect the user

We strongly recommend that only branded or marked gloves be used for thermal hazards.
