Introduction :- This presentation is to present the sequence of

Constructing SIX meter diameter climbing support

structure (used on all the blocks but Block 1): this will

consist of a frame with a system of 8Nos. “klik-klak”

brackets to anchor the formwork to the wall and support

it. The structure will be completed with two platforms

(top and bottom platform) at two different levels. The use

and lifting of the formwork will be one of the key aspects

to be managed and strictly controlled during construction

as it could potentially create severe Health and Safety

Hazards.

In particular, the structural failure of a single component

of the formwork might trigger the collapse of the entire

system with significant falls from height and serious

consequences.

Sequence of the works:-

1.Surface preparation for construction joints between base slab and block n0.1.

2.Shaft survey as built and chipping SCL if necessary.

3.Geo textiles installations as separation later between CPL and Diagram wall

4.Block No.1 Rebar works.

5.RMD shutter panels preparation with the platform and inspections,

Lowering/Aligned in the passions by inclined jacks and anchor with the base slab.

6.Lowering Membrane and tightening

7.Installing the water stop between Block 1 and Block 2

8.Survey and QC inspection, then casting

9.Installed the injection hose between Block number No.1 AND No. 2

Sequence of the works:-

10.Installed the rebar for block number 2

11.Dismantling Block No 1 shutter and lifting up to surface

12.Lowering frame structure with “klik-klak” resting on block 1 , 8 no shear pockets.

13. Lowering shutter panels fixed with the frame structure .

14. Setting out the shutter to the pouring position using turn buckle jacks and pouring.

15.Repeat point Item no. 6 to 9 with filler board between movement joints.

16.After concrete strength reach 20 mpa, close the shutter to the lifting position .

17.Lift up the shutter to the next block and repeat the same sequence each block.

18.After lifting each block ,grouting injection hoses ,casting previous shear pockets

and membrane joints welding.

Lesson learned from T02

1.Full body harness must be used all the times while working on the shutter.

Setting out the climbing

2.Shutter must be surveyed before and after casting from minimum 8 points

from the centres.

3.All jacks must be proper tightening and secured .

4.Membrane sheets must be tensioned equally and checked from all the sides

and ensure for not air pockets.
