PREP & ISPPP – full day overlap for joint technical program activities ISPPP2019, the 39th International Symposium & Exhibit on the Separation of Proteins, Peptides & Polynucleotides will be held the same week in the same conference venue as PREP2019 with a full day overlap. For people seeking comprehensive coverage of bio-chromatography from process scale to analytics and product characterization, a single, discounted registration fee will provide access to both conferences. Complementary program activities will be organized for the overlap day to take advantage of technical content and networking synergies. Registered participants from either conference may attend any PREP and ISPPP session that takes place on Wednesday, July 10, 2019. See www.PREPsymposium.org and www.ISPPP.org for details.

Expanding opportunities at the interface of analytical & preparative chromatography – HPLC2019 Interest in the field of preparative and process-scale chromatography continues to grow. Although traditionally centered more on analytical applications, the HPLC2019 Conference in Milano, Italy (https://www.hplc2019-milan.org/) will also feature a session at the interface between analytical and preparative applications entitled “HPLC for process analytical technology (PAT) and quality assessment in preparative chromatography”. While analytical and preparative chromatography have different goals, the two areas share many common scientific aspects. Thus, HPLC2019 and this session in particular, could be of interest to many in the PREP community. For further information contact the HPLC2019 co-chairs A. Cavazzini, U. Ferrara, and M. Morbidelli, ETH, Zurich and also a member of the PREP Scientific Advisory Committee and a PREP Workshop lecturer.
