North Park, founded in the early 1900s, is a neighborhood in San Diego located northeast of Balboa Park. North Park is bounded by Lincoln Avenue to the north, Florida Street to the west, Switzer Canyon and South Park neighborhood to the South, and Interstate 805 and City Heights to the east.
