3,210m to Poon Hill summit in the
beautiful Annapurna Mountain range
Plan International programmes
yourself in local culture as we
leave behind the tourist areas to travel
into rural Nepal
On this 10 day Trek Nepal Challenge
you will journey through remote
mountain villages, be surrounded by
magical scenery, travel off the tourist
track and be immersed in the local
culture.
Visit down-town Kathmandu, Nepal's
vibrant capital city. Enjoy an
extraordinary flight along the
Himalayan mountain range en route to
Pokhara.
Then, traverse the Annapurna circuit
over four days, along the way meeting
the local communities, all the while
experiencing the local culture and
enjoying the local cuisine.
You will also have the very unique
opportunity to visit several Plan
International Programmes, thus
seeing your support in action directly.

Here at Plan International Ireland, we have a vision – happy, healthy and educated
girls. By joining us on this extraordinary adventure, you are supporting this vision.
You can see your support in action, while experiencing a personal journey of
adventure and discovery.
We believe that if we can help create opportunity, girls will do the rest. This is central to
our Because I am a Girl movement. Being a girl in a low-income country is tough. It means
you are more likely to be married off early, more likely to find yourself having a baby while
still only a child. You are more likely to drop out of school, more likely to suffer from violence
and abuse and you’ll normally be the last to be fed and the last to be heard (if even asked).
Plan International's 79 years of experience has proven to us that supporting girls is the best
investment we can make in the world today. When we invest in girls, they can decide the
future they want for themselves and for their families. They can educate themselves and
those around them. They can invest, save and reinvest.
Ultimately, they can make our world better.
