• Korean is a language spoken by Korean people, which includes

number of speakers.


• The Korean alphabet,

which is called Hun-geul (한글),

was created in 1443 by King

Sejong the Great (세종대황).


• Han-geul’s original name was Hunminjeong-eum (훈민정음)

which literally means, “The correct sounds teaching people.”
