As our fall season begins turning to winer, I would ask parents to please remind their children to dress appropriately for the conditions. Hopefully, this is a ways down the road, but a person never knows. Thank you in advance for your support and help in this matter. Our first nine weeks came to end on Friday, October 21st. Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Tuesday, November 1st from 3:30 -9:30 p.m. This is different than it has been in the past. We are going to try one day for six hours instead of two different evenings for three hours. As of right now, the spring conferences are scheduled as one day. I encourage all our parents to attend conferences. I would like to take this opportunity to thank parents and community members for attending the drug and alcohol presentation held in the James Holwell Auditorium on Wednesday, October 5th. The information presented was very eye opening. I hope everyone in attendance found the presentations both useful and informational. If you were not able to attend, the powerpoint and a list of area treatment providers can be located on the school website (www.bottineau.k12.nd.us) by clicking on the Drug/Alcohol information tab located on the top of the web page. I hope the presentation and information on our website can help everyone to discuss the dangers drugs and alcohol can have on your teens. Again, thank you to everyone that was able to attend.
