What a wonderful gift a CatholicEducation is. We are so blessed to have schools which provide a good, quality Catholic Education to members of our Cathedral Parish. Thank you for your generosity, and for taking the time to be with us this evening as we raise funds that will allow us to support thewonderful schools which areeducating our children:

St. Charles, St. Christine, St. Joseph/ Immaculate Heart of Mary, Holy Family, St. Patrick, St. Rose, and Ursuline High School.

I offer special thanks to the membersof the Reverse Raffle Committee who have worked so hard over the last several months preparing for this eve-ning’s event, and to the many volunteers who have given of their precious time. I also offer my heartfelt thanks to the many organizations, businesses and individuals who have made donations to our raffle and silent auction. I hope that you will give them your support and gratitude for the support that they have given us.

May God bless you, our children, and our Cathedral Parish.

Reverse Raffle:Only 300 tickets are for Sale for the Reverse Raffle. Tickets are drawn which eliminate participants from the Raffle. During the “pull” of tickets, the first, 50th, 100th, 150th, 200th, 250th, and 295th pull will be $50 winners. The last five tickets remaining in the drawing will have the choice to draw to the last ticket for the whole pot, split the $3000 pot ($600 each), or split $2,500 ($500 each) & draw to the last ticket for the remaining $500. Majority rules.

*Golden Ticket:* $5 Raffle for a chance to win the Golden Ticket (#150) which will be in-serted into the Raffle after the 291st pull (a guarantee to be one of the last 10 tickets in the drawing).

Mini Board Raffle:Completely different raffle in which blocks can be purchased for $10 and the pot is split with 50% going to the winner(s). For every $20 spent on this raffle, you will receive a ticket to be included in a raffle to win a TV. This is an opportunity to either pick the same number that you have in the main raffle for a chance to “Win Big” if your number remains, or pick different numbers to increase your odds for winning in one of the two raffles. Reminder: This raffle runs concurrent with the main raffle, so when a number is pulled it is eliminated from both raffles, so choose your mini board numbers wisely!

50/50 Raffle: Tickets sold during the reverse raffle for our 50/50 drawing, which last year’s winner took home over $500. Tickets will be $5 for an Arm’s length (10 tickets). The drawing will take place after the 295th pull of the reverse raffle. If you intend on leaving early that evening, make sure you give your tickets to a volunteer with your name printed on the back.

Silent Auction:Increment bids above the starting bids are to be placed on the bid sheet for the desired item. Highest bidder at the close of the bidding process is awarded the prize. See the treasurers table after the raffle to present your CASH/CHECK and obtain your item.

Chinese Auction:You get 25 tickets for $10. You will register your name and table number. You receive a sheet of tickets with your assigned number and you place your tickets in the containers that correspond to the item that you’d like to win. If your ticket is pulled, your prize will be delivered to you at your assigned table during the main raffle.
