What is 3D P or RP?Rapid Prototyping is a group of techniques that is used to quickly fabricate a scale model of a physical part or assembly using three dimensional computer aided design (CAD) data.

RP process Rapid Prototyping is a method in which the part is created by additive process.Using a specialized software (MIMICS), a 3-D CAD model is cut into very thin layers or cross-sections. RP machine constructs the part layer by layer until solid replica of the CAD model is generated. The model can then be used for various purpose in our case for surgical simulation and implant instrument designing.
