Often these networks system will utilize the same Internet Protocol (IP) which is the Internet standard. The Internet of Things (IOT) is transforming the physical world in such a way that virtual objects or actual objects can be tracked, controlled and perfectly communicated, thereby helping to make the globe itself a kind of information system.
The IOT would be beneficial for the functions controls and automation by enabling:
1. Optimization of the process
2. Optimized resource consumption.
3. Autonomous Complicated Systems.
