2nd Friday Art Walk! Through a series of art exhibits, installations and temporary improvements to the 200 W. Main Block of Downtown Norman, Norman Arts Council is exploring the concepts of walkability, bikeability, green space, enhanced retail offerings
and art experience in order to welcome people to Main Street. Space: threshold: the promised land featuring work from Marwin Begaye, Sarah Hearn, Erin Latham, Ellen Moershel, Alexandra Knox and many more debuts Friday night with a Better Block
Weekend in place for the entire weekend.
WHAT: All Fun & GamesWHERE: Firehouse Art Center, 444 S. Flood
WHEN: 6 to 9 p.m.ABOUT: Firehouse Art Center invites you to enjoy Artist Matthew Kaney’s exhibit All
Fun & Games, an innovative exhibition featuring the video arcade game as a medium of visual art. He present satirical commentary on contemporary political issues through this
collection of work.
WHAT: GenerationsWHERE: The Performing Arts Studio, 200 S. Jones
WHEN: 6 to 9 p.m.ABOUT: The Performing Arts Studio & Depot Gallery closes out the Generations
exhibit, a father-son art show featuring Brad and Nathan Price. Brad is an instructor in the Art Department at Oklahoma Baptist University and his son Nathan is a
graphic designer, visual artist and musician living in Tulsa. The paintings are being sold in an ongoing silent auction that closes with the exhibit. There will be live
painting demonstrations and refreshments on hand.

Robinson. Cahill’s graphic design-based work champions geometry for a futuristic style while Robinson is inspired by nature, animals and forest elements for a folky, rustic tone. DJ NGHBRS will spin records and Mariposa Coffee Roastery will be on
hand!

WHEN: 7 p.m.ABOUT: Opolis features some of the best and brightest of Oklahoma rap with Hip-Hop at the Art Walk, a free outdoor show presented by Campus
Activities Council Concert Series, Opolis and Norman Arts Council. Johnny Polygon (L.A. by way of Tulsa), ADDverse Effects, Josh Sallee, Blake Bass
and Sardashhh with Gregory Jerome will all perform, starting at 7 p.m. and wrapping up by midnight.
