However, with its strategic location situated midway between Kuala Lumpur City Center (KLCC), Malaysia’s political capital and Putrajaya, the administrative capital, urbanization has rapidly developed Pusat Perniagaan Suria or Puchong Gateway into a new township contributing to population boom in the territory. Moreover, with a very favorable sun irradiation, an area of approximately seven acres in Puchong Gateway was carved out for a 2MW solar plant under the Renewable Energy Feed In Tariff program by the government. The solar plant project is developed and operated by Solar System & Power Sdn. Bhd. KEY BENEFITS OF THE SYSTEM• The 2 MW Puchong Gateway solar plant will be able to generate

approximately 1.5 million kWh of electricity which is equivalent to

the average electricity consumption of approximately 1000 typical

residential homes in Malaysia.

• 100% of the solar energy produced gets into the local electrical grid

• Proven long-term performance of Yingli multicrystalline panels ensures

ongoing high energy yields.

• Yingli panels’ unique ability to perform well in varying temperature,

high humidity and cloudy conditions.

• Yingli modules have an outstanding price/ performance rate and a

higher output power than expected.
