Population structure:The classification, division or grouping of data with respect to its characteristics is called population structure.

For example:Sex structureAge structureAge sex structure

Sex structure:The division of population w.r.t males and female is called sex structure.

It can be measure by two methods,

Sex ratio:

SR=Pm/Pf*100

The SR according to 2014 is 153 males for every 100 females

Masculinity proportion:

MPm=Pm/Pt*100

MPf=Pf/Pt*100

•MPm according to 2014 was 69 males amongest every hundered person.•MPf was 45 females amongest every hundered persons.

Age structure:It tells us about the population of a country w.r.t age.

Different age groups are given below;

0-14 children(economically inactive)

15-64 bread earners(active pops)

65+ old persons(in active pops)

In active population depend upon bread earners.

Personal savings:Money that an individual has put away for non-immediate use.

OR

The money that a person, rather than a business or organization, keep in an account in a bank or similar financial organization.

Saving trends in Pakistan:

In poor countries like ours most of the

savings is done by households.Current saving rate in Pakistan(as a percentage of GDP) is 14% which is one of the lowest in the world. It should be at least 20% for long term sustainable growth.

Saving behavior in Pakistan is influenced by various factors including wealth, employment status, education, age and dependency ratio.

Pakistan saving rate:

What is Labor :The aggregate of all human physical and mental effort used in creation of goods and service.

All the effort and hard work that have been involved in doing a particular piece of work.

Or

The particular work, especially that which involves physical effort.

Labor force; total in Pakistan was last measured at 59687683.93 in 2010, according to the World Bank.

Pakistan is the 10th largest country in the world

according to the size of the labour force.
