The City of Deltona was founded in 1962 by General Development Corp and the Mackle Bros. and is now home toover 90,000 residents and is the largest city in Volusia County. It has an annual population growth rate ofapproximately 1.4%. The City is just ten to twelve miles north of Metro Orlando and 30 miles southwest of Daytona
