" La idea esencial se construye pensando en el comportamiento estructural de una viga simplemente apoyada con voladizos a los extremos como contrapeso de la posible deformación de una gran luz libre al centro.La casa se apoya sobre cuatro columnas en planta baja con una luz de 15 mts libre y dos voladizos laterales al extremo de 3.90 mts., la planta alta se cierra con dos placas apoyadas sobre las columnas y sobre estas se apoyan dos grandes vigas de 1.60 m en posición longitudinal que soportan y cuelgan las losas de techos, entrepisos, finalmente todos los estos elementos se ordenan en una suerte de síntesis formal en un solo movimiento en forma de rulo que definirán, un gran espacio abierto y transparente en planta libre sobre el nivel del terreno, un espacio intimo y cerrado al interior del giro y otro para instalaciones técnicas o doble techo como respuesta al clima" javier corvalan
