We recommend placing this card with your bikes tool kit or owner's manual to use as a future reference for changing your bikes brake modes, or to engage Hazard Flashers or Night Rider mode. To engage Emergency Hazard Flashers without the use of an optional switch: Turn Right turn signal on, apply brakes and turn the bikes key switch off. When the hazard flasher is turned on this way it will continue to flash until the bikes key switch is turned back on. The Night Rider mode is meant to draw attention to your bike at bike shows, rally's, or bike nights. It can be mounted with the included double sided adhesive tape or any other suitable means. This Frame was designed to match the bolt hole pattern of most states license plates. It may be necessary to adjust the holes of the license plate to accommodate the frame. This can be done easily with the use of a round file. If adjustment is necessary, it is minimal. 3. Determine where and how to run the wires from the L.E.D. light array to the motorcycle's wiring. (see diagrams and wiring instructions below. Additional lengths of connecting wire may be required (not provided). 4. Included are 4 rear mount stud screws, washers and locking nuts. Insert the stud screws into the holes on your AYN frame and use a 3/16 alan wrench to torque them down tight to prevent loosening from vibration. Then add the washer and nut to secure the frame and license plate in place. 5. We reccomend that you first test our AYN license plate frame on a known 12V power source prior to installation to ensure proper function. 1. To accommodate the wires from the L.E.D. array (if necessary) it is recommended to file a notch in the license plate to prevent chaffing of the wires. Do not pinch the wires between the frame and the plate as this could cause the LED's to malfunction. PLEASE READ BEFORE INSTALL When installing the AYN Smart module in combination with the AYN frame you will need to know about the 4 user selectable modes and how to switch to the one you want. In the event you install the AYN frame with the AYN module, a reference sheet of what modes you have to choose from and how to switch them is provided. Print these instructions out and cut along the dotted line so you can easily place the sheet into your glovebox or saddlebag for reference. *THE GREEN AND WHITE WIRES FROM THE MODULE CAN CONTROL YOUR HAZARD FLASHERS AND 'NIGHT RIDER' MODE WITH A SWITCH (NOT INCLUDED) RATHER THAN USING HAND CONTROLS, THIS IS OPTIONAL. *Three slow flashes, steady, then repeat To change brake flash modes: Within 10 seconds after turning the bike on, press and release the brakes the number of times in the table below to change brake modes.
