Biggest Morning Tea Have you purchased a ticket yet! Val from Floral and Gold has donated a beautifully ornate yellow tea cup and saucer by Robert Gordon called Spring Fling. One lucky pre-purchased ticket holder will get to take this elegant piece home. We have had other generous donations for the Best Mad Hat and the Best Tea Cup competitions. Bring out your creative flair and you to could take home an amazing prize. It is now on display in the centre along with published books with inspired high tea flavour and important cancer information. Newest Volunteer Volunteer Michelle Vanzetti is helping in the reception. Thanks to our talented trainee Alice, Michelle is getting a complete run down on the services we provide to the community. Michelle was kept busy on Friday making tissue paper flowers in preparation for the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, showing that she has many crafty talents. Michelle’s family have a farm just outside of Moora on the Moora to Walebing Road. Library Services Last week at Better Beginnings Rose and the creative gang we had an awesome time making fireworks painting, doing collages and listening to the 'Wombat Stew' story ! Golden Oldies Book Club Golden Oldies - book club was held on Thursday 26th May, they discussed 'The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake' by Aimee Bender.
