2019 4-H SEWING GROUP Beginners: Are you 8 years or older and an active member in 4-H? A new begin-ner’s sewing session is starting January 2019. No sewing machine is needed, but we do need a commitment for four Saturdays (second Saturday of the month) from 9:00am-12:00 noon, starting in January. Attendance is important as skills are built on prior classes. A fee of $40 will be charged for materials, snacks, etc… payable by cash or check and due at time of registration. Last day to register is January 4, 2019. Reserve your spot today by visiting the Extension Office at 25 E. Fifth Street

in Leming, TX 78050. Class size is limited so don’t delay. Please call Dru for questions or concerns at 830-569-0034. Additionally, in 2019 the current leaders will divide up in teams in order to meet the needs of all of our students so we are going to need help from parents for the new beginners session! We are asking that each new beginner be accompanied by a parent/adult. The parent/adult will assist the student at the ironing stations, reading directions and staying on task. Because our workspace is limited and sometimes hazardous (hot irons, stairs, pins) we ask that siblings not attend the classes. Please feel free to email your questions to Lydia Brown at [email protected].
