The CAR 35, which has been on the market since 2000, has proven to be very successful, user-friendly and, most important of all, SAFE. Using the CAR 35 hook has several advantages:

    - LOW maintenance; the CAR 35 hook is 99% stainless steel!

    - HIGH quality and well priced.

    - SAFE for the crew; when deploying a rescue boat, the

crew only needs to operate one hook and does not need to worry about being hit in the face by the raft hook which hangs there unused. Note - an automatic release hook weighs approx. 7.5 kg.

    - SAVES money; you only need to buy one CAR 35 hook. All other davit manufacturers will supply you with two hooks, one for life raft handling and

one for rescue boat handling. That makes them twice as expensive.

    - EASY to use; one hook for two applications. In distress, people using the CAR 35 hook do not need to worry which hook is to be used for life raft handling or rescue boat handling. People who do not use the CAR 35 hook may endanger your safety.

Noreq can supply the CAR 35 combined automatic release hooks from stock.

Manual slewing type: The single-arm slewing davit is a free-standing, deck-mounted davit consisting of a davit arm, column and electric rescue boat winch. In cases where manual slewing is not allowed by the ag state, a hydraulic slewing davit from the hydraulic series can be used as an alternative.

Hydraulic slewing type: The hydraulic single-arm slewing davit is a free-standing, deck-mounted davit consisting of a davit arm, column and electric rescue boat winch. Slewing out the fully manned rescue boat from its stowed position into launch position is done by means of the accumulated power obtained from a self-contained hydraulic power pack unit.

Also available with additional life raft handling feature and / or additional stores handling feature.
