Erasmus Mundus• Erasmus Mundus is a new programme of the European Commission• a co-operation and mobility programme in the field of higher education• aims to enhance quality in European higher education and to promote

intercultural understanding through co-operation with third countries• Students coming from outside the EU can apply for an Erasmus Mundus

scholarship• budget of 230 million euros, 90% of which go into scholarships• More information:

HSP Huygens ProgrammeSome criteria:• Excellent results in all your previous studies • You must have already attended a programme of education in a country

outside the Netherlands.• The Dutch study programme should be registered in CROHO• You should be in the final phase of your bachelor’s studies, or studying

towards a master’s degree in the Netherlands • You must be no older than 35 years of age

What do students get?• reimbursement of tuition fees or a contribution towards costs• monthly allowance of € 900 euros • visa fees (standard contribution) • a one-off payment towards international travel costs

Tempus• enables universities in a number of countries to establish partnerships in the

European Union that help them restructure their higher education systems. • The programme allows universities to offer scholarships for student exchanges

Libertas Support Fund• Aim: to assist politically engaged students who for political reasons have been

prevented from studying in their countries of origin to continue their studies in
