24hrs At Freebridge

This is how we started things on Thursday, the day before. We

placed this press release / information sheet on our website

to try and gain some wider interest than that had

already been shown locally.

We then began to refer people to the media / information

release that we’d placed on our website using this tweet.

And we quickly got support from a wide range of housing sector organisations.

And this is how we started on the day, which

at least raised a smile from the Editor of Inside Housing.

The Eastern Daily Press supported us via

twitter throughout the day and quickly

put up a story on their website.

As did Inside Housing.

____________________________________

Throughout the day various organisations and

individuals got in touch and helped spread the word.

Then after just one overnight call and over three hundred

during the day we finished the day with this tweet.

We had a variety of calls throughout the time we were tweeting

- many regarding a burst water main, a peculiar number of

problematic taps amongst many other repairs, numerous rent

payments and even an errant pony.

In the main most people seem to have understood why we

were doing this, although not all – however a couple of

comments linked to the story on the Inside Housing website

reassure us (if we needed it) that the exercise was indeed

worthwhile.
