BUSPM reserves the right to cancel the seminar up to two weeks prior to the start date of the seminar. BUSPM will make every effort to inform the participants as soon as possible in the even of cancellation. At no time will BUSPM be responsible for any other cost that may have incurred by the registrant.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES 1. To provide an overview of advanced diagnosis and management of diabetic foot complications including wound healing and ulceration/infection.

2. To review and differentiate the sonographic appearance of normal foot and ankle structures.

3. To differentiate between normal and pathologic lower extremity development in pediatric patients.

4. To discuss the 2010 Consensus document on advancing the care and treatment of diabetic foot ulcers.

5. To highlight the progression of current stem cell research in podiatry.

6. To review the procedure and indications for various skin biopsy techniques and how such techniques may be used to increase the quality of patient care.

7. To illustrate new advances in surgical techniques.

8. To provide a hands-on workshop demonstrating the evolution of plating systems and specialty forefoot plates.

ACCREDITATION Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine is approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education to offer recognized continuing podiatric medical education programs. The 22nd Annual Agnes Seminar offers 7 Continuing Education Contact hours for licensed podiatrists.
