WordPress is one of the easiest content management platforms to learn. Within an hour, most peoplewill feel comfortable navigating the WordPress admin area, adding articles, and uploading images. Itdoes, however, take a little longer to get the most out of WordPress. That is why I recommendreading WordPress blogs regularly.
WordPress blogs give tips on how to improve WordPress and make it more efficient. They shareuseful plugins, beautiful WordPress themes, practical code snippets, and much more. I have beenreading WordPress blogs and writing about WordPress for eight years and continue to readWordPress blogs regularly to this day. It is the best way to stay up to date with the latest WordPressplugins, themes, and techniques.
This article details the best WordPress blogs that are active today. I have listed blogs that cover arange of topics as I covered WordPress tutorial websites and WordPress news blogs recently.Therefore, blogs such as the official WordPress blog, TutsPlus, WP Sites, Cats Who Code and WPBeginner, have not been listed.
Obviously, I am very biased with this opinion, but I believe that Elegant Themes blog is currently oneof the best wordPress blogs online. Having launched in 2008, the Elegant Themes Blog is also one ofthe oldest WordPress blogs around; however, in the beginning, the blog predominantly focused onupdates about new Elegant Themes designs and plugins. It was not until 2014 that the blog starteddiversifying and offering tips, tutorials, and suggestions of great plugins.
Our blog is updated most days with high quality content. We have made a point of ensuring that ourarticles offer practical advice that help you use WordPress more effectively. I encourage you to

In 2014, weexpanded the Elegant Themes blog to offer more great content to readers.
WP Tavern has always been one of the best WordPress news blogs online, however over the courseof the last year they have expanded the range of topics they cover. They now include theme listarticles, inside look at plugins, interviews, and more. All articles are written by WordPress veteransJeff Chandler and Sarah Gooding and every Friday they go live with the fantastic podcast WordPressWeekly.

Run by my friends Sam Sinton and Kevin Mackay, WP Squared is updated every week with greatWordPress tutorials, news, theme lists, and plugin reviews. They also review online tools that willhelp website owners. They will soon be expanding the blog and increasing their posting frequency,so expect great things from the blog in the near future.

87 Studios is updated frequently by WordPress developer Kris Hoja. The blog includes newsroundups and competitions on a regular basis. They also publish tutorials and reviews of themes andplugins. I have worked with Kris many times in the past and I am always amazed with how helpful heis with other WordPress users. This natural desire to help others shines through in his articles.

Recently launched by Blogging Wizard owner Adam Connell, WP Superstars publishes useful pluginand theme reviews. General advice about WordPress is also shared and there is a hostingcomparison page and recommended WordPress resources page.
WPSuperstars has not been online long, however the content published so far has been really good.
ManageWP are well known for their WordPress management service, however they have also beenupdating their blog with great content for three years. They publish articles on a wide range oftopics including WordPress tutorials, news, development, plugins, and themes.
