Board Goal #4

Target #1: Technology Skills Curriculum

Target #2:By July 2013, all K-12 students will be provided a global life skills curriculum tied to the ISBE social/emotional learning standards, imbedded in academic courses and locally tested in grades 5, 8, and 12 with 80% mastery of students at each school achieving mastery.

Research immigration/migration practices of specific time periods

Research family history of immigration/migration.

Exercise

Interview a family member or neighbor, record interview and create a video montage.

Groups choose to research present day immigration patterns and build a Google Earth lesson depicting patterns of that group.
