NOTICE UNDER SECTION 213 OF G.H.M.C. ACT 1955

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 213 of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act 1955, you are hereby required to furnish the information in respect of the building or land, owned or occupied by you within ( ) days from the date of receipt of this notice, duly signed by you with the following documents mentioned below, so as to enable this office to determine the rateable value.

According to the sub section 2 of section 213 of G.H.M.C. Act 1955, every Owner or Occupier on whom any such requisition is made shall be bound to comply with the same and to give true return to the best of their knowledge or belief.
If you fail to furnish the information required aforesaid within the stipulated time you are liable for punishment Under Section 598 of GHMC Act 1955 under the provisions of section 176 and 177 of Indian Penal Code, and the assessing authority will proceed further to determine the rateable value after due enquiry and inspection if necessary and with the information so collected for the purpose.
