COVID SAFE EISTEDDFOD As the health situation in Australia has significantly improved and many of the COVID restrictions have been relaxed we are hoping that we can run the Eisteddfod as normally as possible. If things change, the committee will make changes, effective immediately, to comply with NSW Government rules for community sport and theatres.
All updates and any changes will be advised via our Facebook page.
A FULL COPY OF THE RULES IS AVAILABLE AT THE SECRETARY’S TABLE
We are a small Committee, and we would like to thank all those involved in the running of the Eisteddfod.
The schools, thank you again for being a part of this Eisteddfod after such a crazy 2020.
The studios and teachers, thank you for encouraging their students to participate.
The performers thank you for entertaining us.
The volunteers, your help is always appreciated.

ADJUDICATOR
Robyn Ryan, OAM
After a lifetime of working for the NSW Education department as teacher, senior executive and music
consultant Robyn Ryan, OAM, is now a freelance musician in demand for conferences, eisteddfodau,
accompanying, marking and master teaching. She considers her career blessed having taught pre-school
through to university level.
Robyn was awarded an Order of Australia medal in 2002 for services to music in the Hastings community
and music education.
In her private studio in Port Macquarie, Robyn specialises in Piano and Voice performance, Musicianship
and aural skills.
Robyn is a choral specialist and until recently taught conducting at Xavier College Melbourne each January
for the Australian Choral Conductor Education and Training Summer School.
Locally Robyn has been Artistic Director of Hastings Choristers Inc. for 32 years and is conductor of their
two community choirs, Cantorus (SATB) and Cantabile (SSAA).
Much of Robyn’s work is pro bono fundraising for various charities.
Her interests include walking her 8 months old Schnoodle, gardening, reading and travel.
She belongs to Zonta club of Port Macquarie and is a keen (if very ordinary) golfer.
Robyn is delighted to return to Inverell as she lived here briefly in the 70’s and taught music at McIntyre
High.
She anticipates a wonderful eisteddfod.
