Friday October 29th: Parent and Family Weekend Check-In at the First Year Center 9:00AM - 5:00PM, First Year Center Please stop by to pick up your registration packet including any pre-purchased tickets, a finalized schedule, and a complimentary Parent and Family Weekend gift. Your student may check in for you.

Student Financial Services Open House 9:00-11:00AM, Chatman Lobby Student Financial Services will be hosting an open house in Chatman Lobby in the Sumers Welcome Center. Skandalaris Center for Interdisciplinary Innovation & Entrepreneurship Open House 9:00AM -12:00PM, Mallinckrodt Lower Level (below the bookstore) Come enjoy coffee and treats at the Skandalaris Center while you learn about our programs and resources. Staff will be available throughout the day to talk with parents and families and answer any questions. There will be three short panels hosted during the day if you have interest in a specific program. A craft corner will also be available for kids and/or the creative!

College Writing Program 9:00AM-12:00PM, Umrath Hall 122 Come learn more about College Writing, the University's first-year writing course. In College Writing, students are challenged to write more critically and creatively, and to become new and more thoughtful writers even as they develop existing strengths. Find information on course themes, REMAKE first-year journal, McLeod Writing Prize, and other writing recognition and publication opportunities for your first-year student.

Campus Tours: 10:00AM - 2:00PM, South Forty Clock Tower Join us for a guided tour of campus led by a WUSA, a current student leader, who will share university and personal anecdotes and information about navigating campus. Tours will depart from the clocktower and will leave every hour. The last tour leaves at 2:00PM.

Literary History Bus Tour (ticketed)** 10:00AM - 12:00PM, Departs from Alumni Parking Lot Learn about the incredibly rich history of writers, playwrights, poets, and even a muse or two. This bus tour weaves together the lives and work of men and women such as T.S. Eliot, Tennessee Williams, Kate Chopin, Sara Teasdale, and Maya Angelou within the context of St. Louis history. Hosted in partnership with the Missouri History Museum.

The Ville Bus Tour (ticketed)** 10:00AM -12:00PM, Departs from Alumni Parking Lot Explore this historic, self-sustained Black neighborhood that has nurtured some of America’s greatest institutions and notable figures. Learn about the community and place Chuck Berry, Tina Turner, Robert Guillaume and so many more called home. Hosted in partnership with the Missouri History Museum.

Cherokee Street Walking Tour (ticketed)** 10:00AM -12:00PM, Departs from Alumni Parking Lot St. Louis is a city steeped in soul and grit, and no place proves it more than Cherokee Street. Once known as the downtown of the South Side, this colorful 1.5-mile stretch transcends political, socioeconomic, and cultural boundaries like no other, reflecting the overall dynamics of the larger city around it. All walking tours will last about 1.5 hours not including bus travel time to starting location. Each tour route covers between 1.5 to 2 miles and will move at a leisurely pace. Office of Undergraduate Research 3:15-5:00PM, outside Wrighton Hall The Office of Undergraduate Research will host an exhibition in Wrighton Hall. The most viewed 10-15 posters from the online symposium will be on display. For online engagement, the virtual symposium will still be available with recordings of sessions and all of the posters and recorded talks. Come learn about the exciting work being done across the university.
