This pacing guide is designed to provide equity with the standards that are being taught to all students in this grade level. Select power and
supporting standards are listed by quarter. Teachers are responsible for teaching those designated standards in depth throughout that
quarter but have the autonomy to design their daily lesson plans to meet the needs of their students. Texts, online supports, and assessment
ideas are listed in this chart and are provided as a starting point for teachers when it comes to planning.
