JUAN URZUA from Mexico

“I chose Trent because it offers the best scholarships for international students. As a transfer student from a university in the U.S., I was in a narrow niche to qualify for a scholarship in Canada. That is when I discovered Trent’s Global Citizen Scholarship which allowed me to return to school.”

ANGELETT VACA (BETSY) from Ecuador

“My relationships with my professors were beyond exceptional. They were engaging, organized, knowledgeable, supportive and willing to ensure that students got the most of their time in the classrooms. I got rapid emails if I didn’t understand the work, workshops that support my knowledge of course and positive feedback.”

JARROD WILLIAMS from Bahamas

“I have fallen in love with the Trent International community. The professors I have had care about their student’s future and make sure we are all on the same page. Trent cares deeply about students physical and mental health, and that just makes me feel much safer and more blessed to attend this university.”

MAGDALENE KARIKARI from Ghana

“I chose Trent because I was looking for a university that focuses on the well-being of its students. I can definitely say that

I found this unwavering trait at Trent.”

MEET STUDENTS FROM AROUND THE WORLD

MINA DEMIRCAN from Germany

“I was always fascinated by Canada, and I chose Trent University because it is surrounded by nature, yet close to big cities.”

KAVYA CHANDRA from India

“As an international student from India, the idea of having a place like Trent be my home for the next four years is absolutely thrilling. The thought of being a part of this big orchestra, where we’re all creating the most impressive symphony – it almost seems too beautiful to be real.”

SIMON JIA from China

“Trent is one of the most beautiful universities in Canada. I particularly enjoy its multicultural atmosphere here at Trent. I have made good friends from different countries, and had a deep understanding of globalization and various cultures. It is indeed an amazing and enjoyable experience.”

ADELYNN CHONG from Malaysia

“I’ve always been interested in both forensic science and the human mind. When trying to choose what to study at university, I was torn between them but thankfully, Trent offered both Forensic Science and Psychology with the ability to combine them with a joint major. That is when I knew Trent was for me.”
