Reminders:• Put your recycling in your cart loose.

Do not use plastic bags.

• Put your cart at the curb (not in the street) by 6:30 a.m. Face the handle toward the house. Have the cart at least 3 feet from other objects.

• Get a bigger, smaller or second recycling cart for free. Call us at 763-493-8006 to get the right size for you.

• Cardboard boxes and extra recyclables (in paper bags) may be placed next to your cart. Boxes must be empty, flattened, taped and tied in bundles no larger than 4ft. by 4ft. by 6in.

• Items that can’t go in your cart such as electronics, mattresses, appliances, and household hazardous waste can be recycled at the Hennepin County Drop-Off Facility. Visit www.hennepin.us/dropoffs or call 612-348-3777 for more info.

• To recycle organics (food scraps and non-recyclable paper) check with your garbage hauler or put material in a compostable bag and drop for free at the Hennepin County Drop-Off Facility, 8100 Jefferson Highway, Brooklyn Park.

• FREE OIL RECYCLING at Brooklyn Park Operations & Maintenance, 8300 Noble Ave N (outside on 83rd Ave side) 24 hours a day.
