Based on results of a silage management survey of BC dairies in 2019 combined with �eld intelligence of practices impacting harvesting, storage, Dry Matter losses and silage face management, a need was identi�ed to address these as part of the 2020 Farm Tour.

Showcased will be four types of systems for silage face management. They will include: Triomaster Big Bite, Trioliet Block Cutter, Triotrac self-propelled and AP silage bite systems. These systems are sponsored by Trioliet.

Also on-site will be technical experts from other sponsors to answer questions and present information on silage packing protocols, silage inoculant selection and administration, bunk face management and its impact on silage face temperatures, DM losses and herd DM intakes.
