I think we first need to address exactly what that means. Some people may confuse science as not being from God… but rather from man. Not So!

Websters dictionary gives us the following definition:

KAIROS TORCH

Behavior modification is embedded in Kairos Torch presentations, activities and materials.

Kairos Torch has taken the terminology of behavior modification models and identified its likeness to those models.

As a result Kairos Torch is more readily accepted in facilities and is able to go about gracefully “meeting youth were they are” to introduce a new way of thinking to them.

Kairos Torch uses 3 methods to introduce new ideas.

1. “Participation Method” - explores how new ideas are shared, community is organized and individuals are empowered. It encourages youth to take part in something new by engaging in problem solving, decision making and take increasing control within the group.

Evidence-Based Practices2. Belief Selection” - allows the presentation of positive beliefs, weakening

negative beliefs and introducing new beliefs focused on more pro-culture outcomes, gently presenting a case for a Christ-centered experience with Christian mentor.
