Therefore, being able to experience God’s work in you and around you, is simply about being able to not only recognize God’s activity, but also being able to classify God’s activity in a practical way that leads to action. KEY VERSE: “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” (Mark 1:15) KEY PRINCIPLE: Kairos (Divine Moment-__________________ Moments) vs. Chronos (Dated Moment- __________________ Moments) I. A __________________ MOMENT: “And the angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed.” (Exodus 3:2) a. Unusual Event: “flame of fire” (Vs. 2) b. Unique Encounter: “it was not consumed” (Vs. 2) APPLICATION: The Speed Bump of Experience II. A __________________ MOMENT: “When the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the bush, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.” (Exodus 3:4) a. Personal Calling: “Moses, Moses!” (Vs. 4) b. Place of Conviction: “take your sandals off your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.” (Vs. 5) c. Point of Connection: “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” (Vs. 6) d. Provoked by Compassion: “And now, behold, the cry of the people of Israel has come to me.” (Vs. 9) APPLICATION: The Brick Wall of Evidence III. A __________________ MOMENT: “Come, I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring my people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.” But Moses said to God,” Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?” (Exodus 3:10-11) a. On one night, 600 churches from around the world will come together to host Night to Shine for approximately 90,000 honored guests through the support of 175,000 volunteers! Join us in prayer as we lift up all churches, guests, and volunteers involved in this momentous occassion!
