Journey of Man: Around the World in Thirty Minutes (02/29/20)

Join us for a mixed media presentation of “Journey of Man”, an adventure we did with National Geographic which took us around the world to trace homo sapiens’ migration from Central Africa. Dr. Spencer Wells, NatGeo’s geneticist/anthropologist took DNA samples from tribes/groups around the world and looked for common markers to trace sapiens’ movements. We met people and explored their environments from many places: Mongolia, Papua New Guinea, the Kalahari Desert, Cambodia, and others. We’ll serve food and drink typical of a few of our stops on this 32,000 mile, 22 day trip by private jet. Saturday February 29, 2020 at 6:00 pm.
