Genuine Volvo brake pads are designed for optimum brake performance with low noise level, absence of vibration and long service life using a selected adhesive between back plate and friction material that provides maximum mechanical strength.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

• Pad friction material to Volvo specification, incorporating centre groove and chamfered edges to inhibit cracking and damages on products around the wheel. Also reduces vibration and noise for safe and smooth operation.

• The right pad for the right vehicle type, weight and operation. Specifications meet all Volvo brake testing criteria to ensure all brake components work together for longer life and reduced overall running costs.

• Pad back plate – tailored to match caliper which keeps repair time down.

• Fade free to be able to maintain braking effort.

The APM2 (Air Production Modulator, generation 2) is the system used to treat, distribute and regulate the compressed air intended for the braking circuit and auxiliary equipment.

Quality assured according to Volvo Standard.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

• Casing made of robust steel plate. Stands up to tough conditions as pressure fluctuates between 0 and 12.5 bars.

• Pollutants and the oil & water droplets are separated mechanically to make the air dry and clean. Guarantees safe brake functions, good suspension comfort and an overall reliable compressed air supply.

• The grains feature a porous structure, with microscopic recesses with an active surface of up to nearly 500,000 square metres. Very efficient capture of particles and water.

• Granulates are perfectly round. Absorption capacity up to 150g of water.

• One extra coalescing filter added for oil particle and moisture removal.
