    Course Registration Schedule for

    Undergraduate Students

    ※ Course Registration website :

    http://sugang.inha.ac.kr

    • All courses except for some Korean

    courses should be registered online.

    • If the site is shown in Korean, please

    close all windows of IE and open the

    link by clicking it on CHROME.

    • Some courses may require

    prerequisites or accept a limited

    number of students.

    • Undergraduate students can take 19

    credits courses at max. per semester.

    • Undergraduate students should take

    at least 9 credits during the semester.

    It is not allowed to withdraw the

    courses under 9 credits.

    • The syllabus will be updating

    constantly from end of January.

    Therefore, you should check course

    registration system often.

    website(http://sugang.inha.ac.kr/)

    and click ‘English’ on the upper

    right corner.

    ➋ Log in with your student ID

    and password. Student ID and

    password will be sent to each

    student via e-mail. Also, you

    can check your student ID and

    password on exchange application

    website.

    ➌ Find ‘Course Registration’ on the

    left side of the website and click it.

    How to Register Courses That Are

    Already Full

    ➊ Please attend the 1st class of the

    course and get permission from

    course professor.

    ➋ Request to add you in the course

    registration system.

    ➌ Although you get the permission

    from the professor, do double-

    check whether the course is

    successfully registered on the

    course registration system.

    ➊ Attend Classes that you would

    like to take between Mar. 16(Mon)

    ~ Mar. 20(Fri) and register online

    during the Course Drop/Add

    • You can withdraw only one of

    the courses that you are taking

    between Apr. 6(Mon) 08:30 ~

    Apr. 8(Wed) 24:00.

    Courses (Undergraduate Exchange

    Students)

    • Every department has a set of its

    own restricted courses available

    only to the students of each major.

    • If you want to take the restricted

    courses, you should attend the

    first class of the course and get

    the approval from the professor.

    Then submit it at information desk

    If the professor does not allow you

    to take the course, you cannot take

    the course.)

    ➏ Please check the ‘Note’. Courses

    with ‘English’ for the Note would

    be offered in English. If it says

    ‘Chinese’, then that courses will

    be offered in Chinese

    shows all courses offered by a particular

    department regardless of instruction

    language.

    Empty blank for ‘Note’ means that the

    course will be taught in Korean.

    How to Find Course Description With Course Number How to Find Restricted courses (Courses only for Majors)

    What is the restricted courses?

    Restricted courses are the courses allowed only to a specific majors. For example, if

    your major is mechanical engineering, you can enroll a mathematics course offered by

    the department of Mechanical Engineering but cannot enroll the mathematics course

    offered by the department of Economics if the mathematics course of the Economics

    is a restricted course. In other words, the restricted courses for a particular major are

    available only to the students of that major.

    ➌ Click ‘Curriculum by Division/

    Major’!

    • Background should be white. Dim

    gray or a background smoothly

    grading from gray to white is not

    permitted.

    • All face components including

    forehead and ears should be

    shown

    • Do not wear your eye-glasses

    • Please take the picture in your

    country and bring a couple of the

    pictures to Korea.

    • Please MUST keep the rules above

    for the picture. If you do not have

    a valid face photo, you will not be

    able to apply for Alien Registration

    and to stay in Korea.

    • There are three dormitories at Inha.

    All international students will be

    assigned at dormitory 2.

    Dormitory Regulations

    • Dormitory sections are strictly

    separated according to gender. Male

    students are NOT allowed to enter

    female rooms and vice versa.

    • Residents are NOT allowed to bring

    guests into the dormitory without

    permission from the dormitory office.

    • Drinking alcohol and smoking in the

    residence is strictly forbidden.

    • The dormitory is closed at 12:00 at

    night. Students are NOT allowed to

    enter the dormitory after 12:00.

    • Breaking the rules mentioned above

    will result in immediate expulsion

    from the dormitory.

    Dormitory Guidance

    • Dormitory is open from 5:00 A.M to

    24:00.

    • All residents should be present in their

    own rooms at 24:00 for roll-call.

    • Residents must apply for sleeping out

    in advance through the dormotiry

    before 22:00 of the same day.

    • Students who get 3 penalty points

    will be expelled from dormitory.

    * Admittance to outsiders, smoke, theft in
