Many years ago, there was a man called, Abraha Al Ashram. He was theking of Yemen.

One day, Abraha made a very big army of people. He had elephants inhis army. He took the army to Mecca because he wanted to destroy theKaaba.

The army moved near to Mecca. The people of Mecca were scared whenthey saw the army. They prayed to Allah and asked him to save theKaaba. Then, they ran and hid in the mountains.

The army started to move nearer to the Kabaa, but the elephantsstopped. They did not want to destroy the Kaaba.

Then, Allah sent some birds. The birds were carrying small stones withtheir beaks and legs. The birds dropped the stones. The stones hit themen and the army was killed.

In this way, Allah saved the Kaaba.
