StudentswillspendfiveweeksinSeville,Spainandwillapplytheiracademicknowledgeonateamconsul:ngprojectwithaclientbasedinSeville.Thegoalofthisprogramistohelpstudentsacquirethehands-onexperienceemployersandgradschoolsseekI'mworkinginteamsofthreeorfourstudentsperconsul:ngproject.Theseconsul:ngprojectsareforrealSpanishcompaniesthatmayincludeanythingfrombusinessplanningmarke:ngplanning,fromproductanalysistobudgetanalysis,oranythinginbetween.Spanishisnotarequirementforthisprogram.However,studentswithSpanish-languagecompetencywillhavemul:pleopportuni:estoprac:cethelanguage.
Cultural tours and ac:vi:es are interwoven in to the trip. This is a unique opportunity to interact withbusinessprofessionalsandstrengthenteamworkandleadershipskillswhileimmersingoneselfinthelocalculture.

ThePlacementProcess
Detailed descrip:ons of consul:ng projects will be proposed to the faculty program leader for approval prior topromo:ngtostudents.
Teamwork
Inorder toworkwell in teamsandbecomeaneffec:ve leader,onemustknowhis/herownstrengthsandpi`alls,understand the complexity of team dynamics, as well as develop the cultural framework for understanding andapprecia:ngculturalvalues.TheMyers-Briggstoolwillbeusedtofacilitateself-awarenessandhowtoworkbeaerinteams.StudentswillperformatestonlinepriortoarrivalandwillreceivetheresultsoftheirMyers-Briggspersonalityprofile during their onsite session aber learning about the elements of personality, based on Carl Jung, andperformingaself-assessment.
TEACHING FACILITIES
GlobalEdusesvariousfacili:eswithinthecityofSevilletomeetthelearningobjec:vesandbudgetof each faculty-led program. Standard ameni:es typically include Wi-Fi access, classroom space,whiteboard, andoverheadprojector. Team-basedprojects that require students towork in teamsunderthesupervisionofa faculty/programadviserwill typicallyhaveaccesstoopenworkspaces,wi-fi,mee:ngroomsandpresenta:onrooms.
Theavailabilityoffacili:eswillvarydependingonavarietyoffactors,suchas:facultypreferences,program enrollment, dates, teaching :mes, co-working schedules, required equipment, programdura:on, program ameni:es and budget. Examples of facili:es include: the University of Sevillecampus, EUSA campus, professional co-working environments, language learning centers, hotelconference centers, GlobalEd offices, etc... All of these op:ons can be explored to adapt to thebudgetandrequirementsofeachprogram.

Self-cateredApartmentsLiving in a self-catered apartment provides faculty withmore independence and privacy than living with a localfamily. JuandelaFuente,CareerDevelopmentDirectorJuan is fromSeville,Spainandhasbeenworking in thestudyabroadsector since2005 invarious roles,including study center director and career development instructor. He has an undergraduate degree inlegal studies from the University of Seville and an MBA from the Universidad Pablo de Olavide. HecompletedaMasterinEduca:onwithaconcentra:oninBilingualVoca:onalTraining.
