WHAT I DO AT THE ART STUDIO ~by Tawny M.
I work with clay making salt and pepper shakers, turtles, and the sisters from “Frozen”, and Guy
Fieri’s “sign”. I go to the art studio three days a week— Wednesday,
Thursday and Friday. I did my name and my sisters’ name, Tracy, in mo-
saic tiles. I made Harry Potter and put on his glasses and wand last Fri-
day. I made Guy Fieri’s sign: Diners, Drive-ins and Dives” out of paper
mache. After the clay pieces get fired, we can glaze them. You can do
mosaic and clay. You have to roll out slabs. When you are making stuff
out of clay, you have to put newspaper in it.
We take them home, or sell them in the fair.
