Our purpose is to increase quality of life and strengthen the relationship between people. TRIMM Copenhagen challenge how people interact and spend time together in an informal setting with focus on creating a lounge atmosphere - outside!

TRIMM Copenhagen is a Danish design-driven company that creates lifestyle products like furniture and interiors with focus on quality, functionality, comfort, mobility and simple design. We will create a space for breaks in everyday life - inside as well as outside. We seek to embrace spirit of the time by offering multi-functional, lightweight products that are easy to move around. Our aim is to develop simple and durable products with unnecessary details, that clearly meet several needs.

Our lounge furniture can be easily moved around because of the light weight and attached handles and can thus easily be used for various purposes. Inside and out. Furniture filling is EPS beads - an insulation material that creates natural warmth when sitting on the furniture. By using high-quality EPS beads as filling, we ensure firm support and a pleasant seating comfort.

All our lounge furniture are made to last for many seasons outdoors without fading. Breathable and mold-resistant, they can withstand being outdoors 365 days a year! However, due to the surprisingly soft touch to Sunbrella Plus®, our furniture are fully suitable for indoor use as well.

All our outdoor furniture are water-repellent and resistant to algae and UV and are easy to clean.

Everything is produced in Europe to ensure top-quality, short production time and the proximity of our workroom.

TRIMM Copenhagen was founded by sailmaker Tim Nielsen and designer Rikke Gjørlund in 2010. The company has maritime roots, which is evident in the design and use of materials.

Material description Sunbrella Plus® fabric as well as EPS beads are the main raw materials of TRIMM Copenhagen furniture. Sunbrella Plus® fabric is manufactured in France and is originally developed for boat covers – hence it has a very high strength and color resistance. Our EPS beads have been carefully selected, after several years of research, by means of the size of the beads. We always use the smallest size of beads containing a small amount of air per bead. In this way, the beads are not easily compressed and the furniture do not need refilling very often. All our materials are selected for their high quality and long durability. Brush off loose dirt or use a vacuum cleaner

Hose down fabric thoroughly and prepare a cleaning solution of water and mild detergent

(100°F/40°C)

Use a soft bristle brush to clean. Allow cleaning solution to soak into the fabric.

Be sure to rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.

Allow Sunbrella to air dry only.

#1027: Brick Sofa

Brick Sofa is a modular sofa consisting of a powder coated aluminum structure. For the seating, a special foam technologically developed for outdoor use, is used. The fabric used for the seating covers is Sunbrella In&Out. All materials used for the Brick Sofa, have specifically been chosen for their durability and weather-resistant characteristics – meaning that Brick Sofa can be left outside 365 days a year! Due to the surprisingly soft touch to the fabric, Brick Sofa is just as suitable for indoor use. A modular sofa provides the owner with flexibility. One module can be used alone as a lounge chair, or several modules can be fixed together creating the exact size of sofa needed. #1129: Cocoon hang chair outdoor

Cocoon hang chair outdoor consists of an aluminum frame creating a light and beautiful look. The seating is made of 100% Sunbrella Plus® attached to the frame with velcro. Cocoon is mounted in the ceiling by the rope attached. The Cocoon hang chair for outdoor, is a perfect chair for a break. A break for reflection and relaxation. You feel embraced by the walls of the cocoon and still you have a free view to the sky as if you were flying.

#1032: Terrazzo tray

The Terrazzo tray is designed by Rikke Gjørlund in collaboration with ZAKKIA and is is handmade by skilled artisans in Vietnam. Our trays feature a smooth, hand polished surface which makes an interesting contrast against the intricate pattern of the small tile chips. It is made of a composite material ensuring that is does not easily break and that it can be left outside. The terrazzo tray has a diameter of 55 cm and comes in 3 different colors. It is very suitable as a table top on e.g. Tiny Moon or Full Moon beanbags. The heavy weight of the Terrazzo tray, makes it very stable as a table top. Product care

The trays have been sealed to withstand contact with food and other wet substances. To care for the terrazzo we recommend washing it by hand with a cloth and detergent. Terrazzo isn’t suitable for microwaves, dishwashers or ovens.

About ZAKKIA: ZAKKIA was founded by Swede-turned-Sydneysider Sara Lundgren in late 2012. Growing up in Sweden Sara was surrounded by design her entire childhood, and since moving to Bondi this passion grew even more as she was inspired by the natural beauty of her new environment. Zakkia was born by combining these two influences into a range of unique homewares and lifestyle products. ZAKKIA is built around craftsmanship and the beauty of the handmade process. We are inspired by the raw materials we use along with the skills of our makers’ who carefully create every object by hand.

#1017: Outdoot cushions in new colors and fabric

We introduce 7 new colors for our big and small cushions. All colors can be mix and matched –

also with our existing cushion colors. Furthermore, we change the fabric of the covers to Sunbrella

In&Out. This fabric has the same high quality characterstics for outdoor use as the Sunbrella Plus

but it is much softer and thus more appropriate for a cushion.

The inner cushion is still made of breathable fabric and together with the special filling of Foss

flakes, our cushions can be left outside even when it’s raining.

#1128: Cocoon hang chair leather

Cocoon Chair consists of an aluminum frame creating a light and beautiful look. The seating is

made of full grain leather straps hand-woven on the aluminum frame and attached with metal

rivets. Cocoon is mounted in the ceiling by the rope attached – which also leads the thoughts to

the maritime roots of TRIMM Copenhagen. Cocoon is available in natural grain leather.

Rikke Gjørlund on the design: “The idea behind the design is to create a chair where the user can feel the weightlessness inside a cocoon. #1029: Hang Desk

THE HANG DESK consists of a desk and a shelf in birch veneer connected by a rope. The shelf and the desk

are carried by knots on the rope. Two brackets in the same color as the table are supplied with the Hang

Desk for mounting on the wall. The Hang Desk is space-saving since it can easily be folded up against the

wall. By means of the 3 elastic bands on the desk, it can then be used as a bulletin board. The Hang Desk

can be mounted at any height you want and hence is also very suitable for kids rooms.

RIKKE GJØRLUND ON THE DESIGN: “The idea behind the design is to create a combined desk and shelf, which can be easily folded up by pulling the rope ends and fix them in a loop lock. As usual I also wanted to create a mult ifunctional furniture – a desk, a shelf and a bulletin board. #1011-6 Rocket:

Rocket is a daybed with a simple Scandinavian expression. It can be used as a stand-alone item to lay or sit on. Used against a wall together with our Big Cushions, the Rocket’s function will transform into a sofa. The Rocket is designed for outdoor use and is all-weather-resistant. However, it is also very suitable for indoor use due to the surprisingly soft touch of the material. The light weight and the attached handles, make the Rocket easy to move around. TRIMM Half Moon is a sunbed with a twist. Even though the filling consists of EPS beads, the firm and yet flexible support, makes the Half Moon a comfortable and perfect place for relaxation. The metal frame ensures that the Half Moon keeps its shape even when not in use. Due to the weather-resistant material used, Half Moon can be left outside even when it is raining. #1013 Full Moon:

TRIMM Full Moon is a giant pouf. As most of our furniture, Full Moon is a multi functional furniture. It can be used as a pouf with seatings for several persons. If used against a wall together with cushions, the Full Moon turns into a cool lounge sofa. Or use it with a tray on it and it is transformed into a sofa table. The attached pocket on the side, is perfect for magazines.

Even though designed for outdoor use, the surprisingly soft touch of the material, makes it fully suitable for indoor use as well. Filling of light EPS beads and the attached handles, make it easy to move around.

The TRIMM Double Hammock is the ultimate choice within hammocks - high quality and handcrafted in Denmark. The outdoor fabric – with a surprising soft touch – is filled with foam. Together with the integrated molded cushion, the Hammock is extremely comfortable with space enough for 2 persons.

The Hammock is held together by high-quality rope and an oak veneer hanger at each end. Quality materials are used from the ropes to the stainless steel carabiners, which ensure the hammock a long life. Danish design and craftsmanship at its best.
