“Wow! What can I say… the first IOUE was incredible, but the second one blew my mind. The International Off-Road & UTV Expo was an outstanding success. We had nearly 18,000 attendees, exhibitors, global distributors, media, and VIP’s. For me it’s hard to believe that since the concept of bring-ing the Arizona Sand Expo back in 2014 was tossed around it is real and very successful today. Key industry players like Charlene Bower (Bower Media), Tim Jones (LOORS), Brian Schriener (Clever Media), Ken Johnson (Lucas Oil), Matt Martelli (Mad Media), Eric Morley (Blue C), Joe Biro (Vision X), Mark “Sarge” from MTX, Jason Cobb (KC Hilites), Lance(Rugged Radi-os), Bill Nash (RideNow Powersports), Cory Sappington (Desert Toys), Brent Reynolds (SandCraft Motorsports), Rhiannon (PCI Radios) and others met with me in meetings, talked on the phone, exchanged emails, had coffee and discussed the real possibilities of a big show returning to Arizona. All of these folks had key input on the event, they beat me down about dates, they made great suggestions, and overall agreed that AZ needed a show again. First International Off-Road Film Festival at Studio Movie Grill was a big success. Three theaters were booked and had an outstanding 90%

occupancy. Dezert People 13, Crusty Demonz, and Busted Knuckle Films all brought their latest masterpieces. We are bringing it back in 2017 and are looking for quality videos to showcase. If you know of any producers that would be interested let us know. It is free for the

film maker to show their film at the International Off-Road Film Festi-val on Nov. 30th, 2017.

The UTV Market continues to be the strongest market segment in all-terrain ve-hicles. With no real dealer show in the USA, we are heavily targeting dealers and distributors from around the globe to come to the International Off-Road & UTV Expo. This addition of key B2B buyers adds a lot to the “value added” aspect of the show to manufacturers. The ability to meet and greet key buyers is extremely important for the overall growth and sustainability of the industry. Manufactur-ers must be able to reasonably participate in events without breaking the bank. Overpriced dealer shows have been a bust now for nearly 4 years. The dramatic change in buying habits has changed the vendor / buyer relationship. The IOUE and UTV Rally permit the Buyer and Seller to engage in an open and friendly en-vironment complete with demo courses. It’s truly a great environment for B2B.

Since day one, Monster Energy has been a key strategic marketing partner of the IOUE and the UTV Rally. Their continued support has put our posters, dis-count coupons, and postcards in 1000’s of Arizona Convenient Stores. What does 1000’s of C-Stores equal? Millions of impressions over the course of a pro-motion. While not everyone that sees a flyer or poster comes to the event, they remember names of sponsors, they get that constant reminder of Key Industry companies, they remember and note the expo, and they associate all those in-volved with the Monster Energy vibe that the companies on the flyer or poster are definitively key players in the industry. We are excited to announce the new dates for the International Off-Road & UTV Expo in Arizona. We are going back to our roots with these dates. For years the legacy of the Arizona Sand Expo has been entrenched in many minds as a December Show. With attendee numbers blossoming to over 23,000 from 2004-2008, we are sure that the date change is going to bode well for the Off-Road & UTV Expo. The new dates do not directly conflict with other expos, SEMA, the Baja 1000, Lucas Oil Nationals or Regionals, Halloween or Thanksgiving at the Dunes. This will give Manufacturers, Retailers, and other exhibitors time to regroup, prepare and get ready for an amazing opportunity to sell products and services right before the Holiday Season. In years past, this has proved to be a great opportunity for everyone.

Mark the Calendar, Stop the Press! Jan. 19, 20, 21, 2018 the International Off-Road & UTV Expo will be at the Fairgrounds in Del Mar, California. “This is a huge move for the industry. This puts an Off-Road & UTV Expo at the doorsteps of the largest Off-Road & UTV community in the USA. More manufacturers and consumers are concentrated here than anywhere else in the USA, Canada, or Mexico. I have dreamed of this for decades, and now it’s a reality.” states Andy Myers (Arizona Expos, Owner). January is a wide open month for the industry. There are no competing events, nothing to really take away from the draw of the crowd. Enthusiasts are still in Dune season and prepping for the upcoming racing season. The facility is world class, the location is world class, the people are world class, and the community is right there.

INTERNATIONAL RV & CAMPING EXPO

What do people do when the go out for a weekend of Off-Roading? They go camping!

December brings us more room to stretch out. The great weather in Arizona during the month of December allows vendors to expand outside and re-introduce the Arizona RV & Camping Expo. After our 2015 we made a decision to shrink down the RV area of the Expo due to the heat. Now that we are back in December, we say bring them OUT! It’s going to be a great time to get our customers to see all the latest and greatest RV’s and camping equipment.

This is why we hold the International RV & Camping Expo in conjunction with the International Off-Road & UTV Expo. We have the space, the weather, the customers and the right time of year for enthusiasts to upgrade their camping lifestyle. Our demographics are proven, over 59% of our attendees have an income greater than $70,000, of that, 38% have an income over $100,000 a year. Forty one percent are over 35 years old, and 47% of them own a home. If that is not enough information, than the fact that 61% camped more than 11 days last year, 29% of that group indicated that they camped more than 20 days. 36% stated they camp in an RV, 28% were in a tent, and 25% were in a fifth wheel. This make the International RV & Camping Expo a must do for any and all RV and Camping related companies.

The 2016 IOUE was on par with what one would expect from the Arizona Expo’s group. We had solid billboard coverage with 7 total boards up 4 weeks prior to the event. Radio coverage via ads, live remotes, and giveaways were steady during the week of the expo. Monster Energy distributed flyers, posters, and discount coupons to over 500 C Stores. O’Reilly Auto Stores displayed posters and sold discount tickets in their Arizona stores. Online our Facebook page currently has over 86,000 likes in just 20 months. Our page is consistently worked and filled with valuable content that engages our customers. We currently have the highest number of Followers/Likes of any competing Expo or Show on Facebook. We had one magazine print ad.
