Ticket Office Hours of Operations

The JCSU Ticket Office is open 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Ticket Office is located on the 3rd floor of Biddle Hall, Suite 320. For general questions call 704-378-1090.

How to Purchase Tickets

There are three ways to purchase tickets for a JCSU home football game:

1. Visit www.goldenbullsports.com and click on the Tickets tab. Scroll down to the “Online Tickets” purchase here link. Once you make your purchase, you may print your ticket or download it to your smart phone, and bring it to gate on game day;

2. Visit the JCSU Ticket Office on campus located in Biddle Hall, 3rd Floor, Suite 320;

3. Purchase on game day in the Brayboy Gymnasium Lobby entrance or Tailgate, Orange Lot entrance.

Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance of game day by going online to help alleviate long lines and wait times.

Lost Tickets

All ticket sales are final, there are no refunds or exchanges permitted. The JCSU Ticket Office is not responsible for tickets that are lost, stolen or mailed to a third party.

Age Requirements

Children 5 years and under are free of charge. Youth tickets for ages 6 through 17 are $10.00 except during Homecoming. The cost is 15.00 for Homecoming games.

JCSU Students

All current JCSU students are admitted free of charge to homes games. Students must present a valid JCSU ID for admission.

Group Tickets

Group tickets for 10 or more persons are available for every game EXCEPT Homecoming. Group tickets are general admission tickets and are $10 per person. Group tickets must be purchased from the JCSU Ticket Office directly in advance of game day and a group designee must make the group purchase. No group tickets will be available for purchasing on game day.

Will Call

On game days Will Call pick up is located in the lobby of Brayboy Gymnasium. A valid picture ID is required to pick up any Will Call tickets.

The deadline to order tickets for Will Call from the JCSU Ticket Office for a home game is 4:30 p.m. the Thursday before game day. After this time, tickets must be purchased and printed online or purchased at the Brayboy Gymnasium lobby on game day.

High School Coaches

Johnson C. Smith University supports the North Carolina High School Athletics Association and is pleased to honor current and lifetime NCHSAA Coaches for home athletic contests. The NCHSAA pass will admit the pass holder only. There is a limited number of Coach's Pass tickets available for each home game (except Homecoming) and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

No advance order will be taken for these complimentary tickets. To obtain your ticket(s) for home football games, present your current NCHSAA Coaches Pass at Will Call. Out-of-state High School league passes will NOT be accepted.

Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Pass

Valid CIAA pass holders will be admitted along with one guest to all home games. Tickets must be picked up from Will Call on game day.

Player Guest Complimentary Tickets

Those who are player guest must go to Will Call on game day to pick up and sign for tickets. Every person listed on the player guest list must show picture ID and sign to receive their tickets. Tickets will not be issued before game day. There is no player will call for visiting teams, however visiting coaches or staff may arrange for guest to pick up tickets that have already been purchased or comp from Will Call.

Tailgate

Tailgating spots are available for all home games through the JCSU Ticket Office and can be purchased online by visiting www.goldenbullsports.com and click on the Tickets tab. Scroll down to bottom of page to Tailgate section and click purchase here link. Once you make your purchase, you may print your ticket or download it to your smart phone, and bring it to gate on game day. Present your receipt at check in, and you will receive an Orange Parking Tag to be displayed in your car for parking.

Everyone in your vehicle MUST also have a game ticket. Tickets will be available for purchase at the Entrance 2 for Tailgate Lot (Orange Lot). For information regarding tailgating see the JCSU Game Zone, Ticket Policy, and Tailgate Parking Guidelines.

The Department of Athletics at Johnson C. Smith is gearing up to provide you with a new game day experience. The activation of the Golden Bull Game Zone will begin with the first home football game held Sept. 2, 2017. The Game Zone will feature access to areas within the stadium, tailgating, street vendors, and more.

We are committed to the continued assessment and enhancement of all facets of the game day experience with respect to customer service, communication, security, and in game environment. We welcome feedback from our fans and will work to integrate those recommendations in the future to improve the overall Game Day experience. We are excited about the upcoming football season and we are eager to welcome our Golden Bull supporters and visiting fans to campus.

GAME ZONE What is the Game Zone?

1. The Game Zone is the perimeter defined within and around the Irwin Belk Complex/Stadium where fans can safely enjoy JCSU football games and tailgating.

2. The Game Zone is defined by two entry points: Gate/Entrance 1 – Brayboy Lower Level Lot,N. Summit Ave; Gate/Entrance 2 – Tailgate Lot, N. Summit Ave. from Oaklawn Ave. Pleaserefer to the map for greater clarity.

3. Any Fans entering the Game Zone will be required to have a game ticket. Vehicles that enterthe Game Zone will need a valid parking pass displayed always.

4. Season ticket holders are required to bring their game ticket/pass for entry into the GameZone.

5. Tickets will be available for purchase on game day in the lobby of Brayboy Gymnasium andat Entrance 2/Tailgate Lot. All JCSU students with a valid JCSU ID are admitted free.

6. On football game day, patrons entering the main campus gate will be required to pay forparking.

THE GOLDEN BULL GAME DAY EXPERIENCE

CUSTOMER SERVICE JCSU Athletics, as well as the University, takes pride in providing good customer service to the alumni, faculty/staff, students, and friends. We want each Golden Bull fan to have the most fun filled experience while attending our athletic events. To assist in this endeavor, we have made advance purchase options available online for tickets so that you can avoid waiting in line on game day. Stadium gates will open two hours prior to game time to avoid long lines at back check we encourage all fans to begin arriving when gates open. To avoid traffic backups in parking try to arrive on campus early, parking will be open at least 4 hours prior to game time. On some occasions, the long waits will be unavoidable we appreciate your patience and understanding during these times. Our staff is focused on making this the best experience for you and are available to assist with any problems or concerns that may arise. First Aid If emergency medical assistance is needed, contact the nearest campus security officer or Deputy. Emergency Medical Technicians are on duty on the field and an ambulance will be on site inside the stadium if a medical emergency should arise. Lost Patrons Lost patrons and persons looking for lost patrons should proceed immediately to the nearest security agent or law enforcement officer in the stadium for assistance. Pregame/Bull Walk The teams take the field for pregame warm-ups approximately 90 minutes prior to kick-off. The JCSU Football will walk the Bull Walk to the stadium from Brayboy Gymnasium. Pregame festivities, including the JCSU Marching band, Luv-A- Bull Cheerleaders, and Dance Team begin approximately 30 minutes prior to kick-off. All fans are urged to arrive at their seats at least 30 minutes before kick-off to enjoy the pregame experience. Stadium Policy/Prohibited Items

• NO RE-ENTRY • NO SMOKING OR USE OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS • NO WEAPONS/FIREARMS/EXPLOSIVES • NO UMBRELLAS • NO ICE CHESTS OR COOLERS • NO OUTSIDE FOODS OR DRINKS • NO SIGNS FOR POLITICAL PURPOSES • NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES

Accessibility The stadium is designed with ramps for easy access to seating areas. Signage is visible for those persons needing access to handicapped seating.

Stadium Elevator Individuals with the proper credentials may access and utilize the elevator located inside the Stadium at main entrance. Student Pick Up/Drop Off/External Events Parents/Guardians/Friends needing to pick up or drop off university students from the campus on game weekends are encouraged to do so on the Friday prior to Game Day. Otherwise, on Game Day you will be subjected to the same traffic and parking rules outlined in other sections of this document. Exceptions to this rule will be handled by the University Police Department and staff. Tobacco Policy JCSU prohibits the use of tobacco products in/outside of the stadium. Will Call WILL CALL will open three hours prior to game time and is in the lobby of Brayboy Gymnasium. A pictured I.D. is required to obtain items from WILL CALL. Handicapped Parking HANDICAPPED PARKING will be available on a first come first serve basis and located in the Brayboy Lower Level Parking Lot (Yellow Lot). To purchase this parking, the vehicle must have displayed on its rearview mirror a state (of residence) issued HANDICAPPED PARKING permit. Shuttle service to and from the stadium may be provided from other lots once Yellow Lot is full. However, all passengers utilizing the shuttle service must have a game ticket to enter the Game Zone. VIP Parking VIP Parking is in the IBC Parking Lot (Blue Lot). Only those who display a blue parking tag in their vehicles will be allowed to park in the Blue Lot. The Blue Lot can be accessed from Fifth Street to N. Summit Ave. Liability Neither JCSU University nor the Athletics Department will be liable for any property loss or damages to vehicles or contents while on the campus of Johnson C. Smith University. Media Parking Members of the media should request parking credentials through the JCSU Sport Information Office by Thursday of game week. For more information, please call 704-378-1118. Protocol for Parking- Faculty, staff, and students If you are Faculty/Staff or a student and you display a CURRENT VALID PARKING DECAL, you may park in any available parking space outside the Game Zone without charge. Faculty, staff and students should check with the University Police Department to purchase PARKING DECAL.

Security If threatening or illegal behavior is observed, patrons are encouraged to contact the nearest campus security officer or Deputy. Do not hesitate to report suspicious behavior or unruly individuals. Trash JCSU conveniently places receptacles for the disposal of trash throughout the stadium and in parking areas. Please help us keep the area enjoyable by disposing of all bagged trash into these receptacles. Recycling is encouraged. Whenever possible, please dispose of recyclables in the proper containers throughout the stadium. Vendors Soliciting or vending of any goods or services is strictly prohibited in the parking lots on game day. You must seek permission from the Department of Athletics to lease a vending space. For more information call 704-378-1205. Service Animals and Pets Pets are not allowed on the JCSU campus at any time. For the health and safety of those attending our athletic events, we ask that pets not be brought into these events. Please do not leave pets and animals unattended anywhere on the campus. Service animals are certainly welcomed with their handler. Umbrellas For your safety and the safety of those attending our football games, you are asked to leave your umbrellas in your vehicle. They are not allowed in the Irwin Belk Complex. Parking and Tailgating The policies regarding parking and tailgating are clearly outlined online at www.goldenbullsports.com under the TICKETS tab. You are encouraged to read those policies and procedures to have the best experience on FOOTBALL GAME DAY.

JCSU Game Zone and Ticket Policy

The JCSU Department of Athletics appreciates your continued support. This football season, we will be implementing the Game Zone program. Please read the information below that will help you navigate. As you read, review the accompanying map for clearer understanding of the Game Zone and Tailgate Parking Guidelines.

1. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance of game day and arrive early for home games. Game Zone entry points open three (4) hours prior to game time.

• Game Zone Entrance 1: Brayboy/Lower Level Lot Gate (N. Summit Ave. crosswalk) • Game Zone Entrance 2: Tailgate (N. Summit Ave. from Oaklawn Ave.)

2. Stadium gates open two (2) hours prior to game time.

3. Anyone entering campus from the main entrance, (Beatties Ford Rd.) will be charged $5.00 per vehicle to park on

campus on game day ($10.00 during Homecoming). Valid Faculty-Staff-Student parking decals will be honored at the main entrance only for no charge.

4. Reserved parking pass holders will receive passes prior to game day and will park in the Brayboy/lower level parking lot. (Yellow Lot)

5. Pedestrians entering the GAME ZONE will be required to have a game ticket for entry into the area. Points of entry to the Game Zone include (on-campus) Entrance 1, Brayboy/Lower Level Lot Gate (N. Summit Ave. crosswalk) as well as Entrances 2. Valid tickets will be scanned for entry.

6. Tickets will be available on game-day at two ticket locations on campus: Brayboy Gymnasium- Lobby and Game Zone entry point at Entrance 2, Tailgate. For your convenience, tickets may be purchased in advance (prior to game day) online at www.goldenbullsports.com/purchase tickets or feel free to visit our JCSU Ticket Office on campus, 3rd Floor Biddle Hall, Suite 320.

7. All JCSU students who present a valid ID will receive free admission to all home contest.

8. Fans who have items at WILL CALL should enter through the main entrance, (Beatties Ford Rd.) and come to the Brayboy Gymnasium Lobby for pick up.

9. Home team players’ guests, North Carolina High School Coaches with a valid NCHSAA Pass, CIAA pass holders and recruits should enter through campus main entrance (Beatties Ford Rd.) and pick up credentials at Brayboy Gymnasium Lobby.

10. All home football contests are played at Irwin Belk Complex, 500 N. Summit Ave., Charlotte, NC unless otherwise noted.

2017 Tailgate Parking Guidelines

To access the Game Zone Entrance 2, Tailgate Parking (Orange Lot) located on N. Summit Ave. Vehicle access to the Tailgate, Orange Lot will need to enter from Oaklawn Ave and Andrill Terrace. During due to parade route, this area can be accessed from Statesville Rd.

Game Zone Entrance 2 (N. Summit Ave from Oaklawn Ave.) opens 4 hours prior to game time for all Tailgaters. Remember, your purchase includes the purchase of one game day ticket.

On game day you must have your Tailgate parking decal and game day ticket to enter the Game Zone. Everyone in your vehicle MUST also have a game ticket. Tickets will be available for purchase at the Entrance 2 for Tailgate Lot (Orange Lot).

In an effort to enhance the tailgating experience and increase number of spaces available vehicles will not be allowed to park in the tailgate lot. Only tents, grills, and chairs are to be present in the tailgate lot. Purchasers will be allowed to drop off these items and food. Parking will be available in a reserved parking area for registered tailgaters.

To help ensure a safe and enjoyable Golden Bull experience for everyone, JCSU Campus Police and Deputies will patrol Tailgate parking areas. We ask that you continue to observe parking rules and procedures while on University property. We encourage you to bring all observed parking violations to the attention of security or a JSCU staff member.
