Weekly Themes

Super Heroes June 5-9

Whether you’re a fan of Superman, the Hulk, Spiderman, Wonder Woman, or any other superhero you will become one yourself during this week. Design

your own mask, cape, symbol, and superpowers to fight off the bad guys trying to attack Kids Kamp. Super Heroes aren’t made overnight, so work through our training camp to gain all the skills you need like strength, speed, and agility to

join our Kids Kamp League. A variety of games and activities such as a laser maze, an X-ray vision guessing game, and much more will be played throughout

the week. See how high your super hero can fly at Elevate Trampoline Park! What kind of super hero will your kamper become this week?

Mad Scientist June 12-16

Is your kamper the next Albert Einstein or Marie Curie? Come find out this week by doing experiments, labs, and other discovery activities. We will learn how

many cool things you can make and do with common household items. Did you know you can make your leafy vegetables change colors? Or make a rocket out

of your used soda bottles? These are only a few of the awesome experiments we will be doing this week. We’ll have an on-site field trip this week when a real

scientist comes and visits to show us even more cool experiments. Your kamper may just be teaching you something this week!

Trains, Planes, & Automobiles June 19-23

Before there was Uber, there was trains, planes, and automobiles. We will be learning about different forms of transportation everyday such as trains,

planes, cars, boats, and buses. Each kamper will design and build their own form of transportation. Car and boat together anyone? Their imagination is

their only limit! How many traffic light themed snacks can we make? Come and find out! Did someone say double field trip?! We will be going to the Wheels O’

Time Museum to see how transportation has involved over time, as well as going to see Cars 3!

Spy School June 26-30

Back by popular demand, Kids Kamp will be transforming into a spy school this week! Kampers will learn how to write in secret code, identify fingerprints, and

create their own i-Spy bottle. How good are your observation and discovery skills? Find out during our stealth contest to see how many challenges you can

make it through. Being a spy means going undercover sometimes, so create your own secret identity. Practice your interviewing skills by playing

HeadBandz. Something suspicious is happening around the Club. Can your kamper help us discover who has been up to no good? Stick around for the big

reveal at the end of the week! Every good spy loves a few rounds of laser tag, so join us at Sunset Lanes to practice your skills.

Emergency Services July 3-7

We all love our great country, so let’s take a few days to appreciate all the people that make it wonderful right here in Peoria! Discover more about being

a police officer, a firefighter, and many other emergency services in our community. Learn how to be prepared in case of an emergency and what should

be included in your own emergency kit at home. Go through our Kids Kamp Boot Camp to see if you could make it through the academy. Learn more about

firefighters by going on a field trip to the local fire department.

Blast Off to Space July 10-14

Blast off to fun in 3...2...1! Come and join us as we design our own constellations, make moon rocks, and a galaxy in a jar. Who will win our balloon rocket race?

Are you brave enough to try some astronaut food? Astronauts have to do delicate work with big equipment and gloves on, so see how well you can do

everyday activities in those conditions. Design your own space suit that we’ll be able to see you in as you blast off into space. Did you know you can create your

own craters on the moon? Come see how! Take the rocket over to the Dome Planetarium and discover all the wonders of space!

Safari Adventure July 17-21

You don’t have to travel all the way to Africa to experience a safari adventure! We’ll transform Kids Kamp into our very own safari. See if you would make it through our crocodile obstacle course or get snapped up along the way. Ever

wonder what the view is like for a giraffe? Walk on some giraffe stilts and find out! Learn more about all the amazing animals that wander across the

savannah and make cool crafts to never forget them. Go on a safari walk around the Club to see what you can discover right here at the Club. Did you know we have our very own safari right here in Peoria? Come see it on our field trip to

the zoo!

Under the Big Top July 24-28

Step right up! Step right up! Come one, come all to Kids Kamp under the Big Top! There are all sorts of fun things to do at the circus such as a ring toss,

tightrope walk, and loads of carnival games. No circus is complete without some yummy food, so make some circus snack mix, soft pretzels, caramel apples,

lemon shake ups, and much more! There are all sorts of fun crafts to do with the circus such as making puffy paint cotton candy, a lion mask, and trapeze artists hanging from the ceiling. Don’t miss getting your face painted either! Want to learn how to be an acrobat in the circus? Learn how to at Elite Gymnastics and

practice all the skills you would need.

Under Construction July 31-August 4

The world is growing all around us, so learn some more about how it all comes together through construction. We may not have big machines and steel, but we

can still see how big of a toothpick and marshmallow building we can make! How tall of a structure can you build with just paper plates and cups? See what sort of pretty pictures can be made with nuts, bolts, and screws. A construction week wouldn’t be complete without loads of Legos to build whatever you want

with. One of the world’s biggest construction and engineering company is right here is Peoria, so join us at the Caterpillar Visitor Center to learn more about it.
