It is a great pleasure and satisfaction to present the this “Cluster CMP E-Newsletter “ of Primary

2017-18. This newsletter gives the glimpses of activities of the young ones of the Vidyalayas of

Vijayawada cluster, where in every activity is taken up with joyous spirit by the buddies and

participated whole heartedly. Hope the newsletter inspires everyone and gives others to come forward

and show their innate talents.

MESSAGE FROM DEPUTY COMMISSIONER I am glad to learn that the Cluster Level News Letter of Vijayawada Cluster for the session

2017-18 is going to be released shortly . The News Letter is indeed a perfect platform to

share the glimpses of multifarious activities conducted in primary section of KVS .Ample

opportunities should be provided to the children to widen their horizon of imagination and

express their feelings . Learning at Primary Level is best accomplished through joyful activi-

ties and I hope the details of such activities of all 12 KV’s in Vijayawada Cluster are depict-

ed in this News Letter. I extend my heartiest felicitation and good wishes to the students ,

CAMP OF CHAMPS

Time in camping isn’t spent, it’s invested. This was the first

time a camp of CUBS AND BULBULS UTSAV was orga-

nized in the school in which different school participated.

Students stayed in the school campus along with their in

charge teachers for three days. This camp brought out the

hidden capabilities of students and taught them to be disci-

plined and calm through different activities like paper

quilling knotting, climbing a tree, plant decoration, taste it

and many more. It was an investment done today for the

returns of tomorrow.

WHEN GRAND PARENTS GET INTO CHILDHOOD

17TH NOVEMBER, a day to celebrate the bond of love between children and grandpar-

ents. GRAND PARENT’S DAY was celebrated in the school. The day started with the

lightening the lamp by The Principal and The Grandparents. Students gave a warm wel-

come to their grandparents with their performance showing the love and care for their

grandparents. Everyone entered their childhood again by participating in sports activities

and winning prizes. The vote of thanks by grandparents made the day memorable.

LITTLE STARS OF K V KHAMMAM

A star may look small to the world, but its shine makes the whole sky twinkle. The little

stars of the school shined bright in the sky by winning awards in classical dance competi-

tions organized by different organizations at district and state level. Ku. Vedasri of class V

was star performer in the Cluster Level Cus & Bulbuls Utsav.

HEALTHY BODY, HEALTHY MIND

A healthy mind resides in a healthy body. KV Khammam organized a health check-up

camp in the month of November. The doctors checked the height, weight, blood pressure,

teeth and other things of the students. Students were counselled about the ways to keep

themselves Healthy and Hygienic. Students attended it with patience and took the oath to

follow a healthy lifestyle.

FROM PRINCIPALS DESK : I take this opportunity to congratulate Vijayawada Clus-

ter Team for bringing out the CMP newsletter. The newsletter gives an opportunity to the

budding stars of Primary to showcase their creativity in writing, compiling and organizing

the newsletter. I congratulate the children of K V Khammam, who have contributed for

this newsletter by reporting on the various activities, the school has conducted during 2017

-18. This newsletter will surely motivate and encourage Primary children to become crea-
