CLASSIC series
In this series of the bog oak flooring we wanted to express the charm of simplicity and highlight the
beauty in variety of bog oak wood. In CLASSIC series there are random cut and grade boards used – this
way one can distinctly see the whole scale of bog oak wood beauty.
For the finishing of CLASSIC series models oil and TimeShift finishing are used, making it the widest
color palette GRIGO flooring collection.

Timelessness from the depths of time. That is a concept of flooring collection ORTUS.
ORTUS flooring collection captures the timelessness of bog oak wood, that was alive and growing
thousands of years ago. Today GRIGO STUDIO helps it to resurrect from these depths of time and
inspire us through the design of spaces in which we live, work and realize our ideas.
Timelessness of bog oak wood means that it can be equally well implemented in classic or modern
interiors.
What else is timeless? We think that Cosmos – it surrounds us and makes us its part. The Cosmos made
it possible for humanity to emerge from the depths of time.
In this regard, one easily can draw an analogy between Bog Oak wood and Cosmos – both of them are
timeless and deep in their colours.
That is why we have chosen the names of planets, moons, stars and constellations to label our ORTUS
flooring collection.

Looking at the moonrings in the texture of JUPITER one can
imagine huge the eye of the storm on the biggest planet in the
Solar system.
Waxed surface looks like it’s absorbing the light and therefore
JUPITER texture has slight feeling of warmth to it.

While creating second engineered flooring collection ANTIQUE we tried to entangle the essence of
passing time in the bog oak wood. To accomplish this, we crafted brand new, original finishing
technology, called TimeShift.
Our unique TimeShift finishing technology renders the very top layer of bog oak wood much
lighter, while deeper inside the wood stays black. When worn, ANTIQUE flooring collection
behaves like high quality leather jacket – after some time the flooring gets darker in the places
that are most often walked on. The effect of the TimeShift makes the bog oak top layer more
expressive and beautiful.
Similarly to the Ortus collection, ANTIQUE flooring is attributed to the category of handcrafted
finishing, which contribute significantly to the unique look of our products and is ready for use as soon
as the floor has been installed.

BODIAM

Bog oak has deep traditions in the United Kingdom – for centuries it
was mined from bogs together with peat. That is why we have chosen
the name of one of the most impressive English castles for our flooring
model – BODIAM.
The colour of this parquet reminds the colour of the castles rock walls
that have withstood many trials by fire.
So is our flooring, which in addition to TimeShift finishing, is also
treated by open fire so its surface becomes more robust.

GHENT
While creating one of the darkest model of ANTIQUE collection our
memories were travelling to Belgium – country, where through
ages oak was, is and will be an integral part of everyday life.
Belgium is rife with beautiful cities and we chose GHENT as a
name for our flooring – mainly because of the dark grey colour,
which is characteristic to the Gravensteen castle which dates back
to the times of crusades.

Bog oak has deep traditions in the United Kingdom – for centuries
it was mined from bogs together with peat. That is why we have
chosen the name of one of English castles for our flooring model –
OLD WARDOUR.
The surface of these floorboards reminds the old, partially broken-
down castle that have withstood a lot of trials.So is our flooring, which in addition to Time Shift finishing, is
heated and chastised,so its surface becomes more robust.

The name SAGRADA FAMILIA has been chosen for probably the most
beautiful flooring model in the ANTIQUE collection.
La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona is the perfect example how time
can be captured in the makings of man. While being built, the
final result awaits for us only in the future. While SAGRADA FAMILIA has the lightest colour, the Time Shift
finishing will reveal contrasting layer of bog oak.

been popular residence for the nobles of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania

DOVER
Bog oak has deep traditions in the United Kingdom – for centuries
it was mined from bogs together with peat. That is why we have
chosen the name of one of English castles for our flooring model –
DOVER.
The surface of these floorboards reminds the old, various tones
colored castle that have withstood many centuries.
