2016 World Clubfoot Day
World Clubfoot Day is celebrated annually on or
around June 3rd each year which is the birthdate
of Dr. Ignacio Ponseti. Celebrations took place
around the globe! We want to thank all those
individuals who took time to organize events.
These events bring awareness of clubfoot and the
Ponseti method to local communities. We can not
possibly highlight all of the great events which took
place, so be sure to check out our Facebook page
for more celebrations. Dr. Ponseti would have
been extremely humbled by the efforts of so many
to promote and build awareness for World Club-
foot Day and the Ponseti method.

The Dominican Republic opened a Ponseti Clinic in honor of Dr.Ponseti's birthdate and legacy. The clinic is receiving 55 patients a week. Some of the patients are older kids with untreated clubfoot or poorly treated clubfoot from previous treatment.
