TRADEWINDSI clearly recall the first cruising experiences we offered. Back then, we only had one boat and one destination but we also had a very strong desire, a dream to fulfill and that was to create the world’s first and finest Private Members Club on luxury catamarans.

Even in the earliest days, we had a clear vision of what we wanted to offer our Members: the opportunity to take part in the experience of a luxury crewed catamaran charter and also to create something genuinely different; a “once in a lifetime” experience for the fortunate few. An experience our Members would come back to and enjoy year after year. Something to make you feel clearly... Alive!

Since the inception of TradeWinds in 1999, a new cruising location has been added just about each year, and we now cover almost the entire Caribbean area, with additional bases in Europe, Central America and the South Pacific Region.

As the fleet of catamarans has grown, we have also upgraded the quality and increased the size of our boats. The TradeWinds fleet now comprises of three classes of catamarans constructed by our renowned French Yacht builder partner:

We decided to make luxury, all-inclusive sailing cruises accessible and affordable. We wanted to offer our Members real flexibility and a superior annual cruising event. We knew we were on the right track when our guest books started to fill up with comments which so often included the sentence “Our best vacation, ever”.

Today that dream has become reality. TradeWinds has established itself as the Caribbean’s fastest growing Crewed Yacht Charter Company, and our Private Members Club now has more than 5,000 Members. We offer both traditional private as well as shared charters, where guests and Members book only the cabin space that they need.

TradeWinds will guarantee you a 6% annual return on the purchase price. With the second option you only pay half of the purchase price and TradeWinds will guarantee the finance on the other half.

In return for allowing TradeWinds to offer your yacht for charter through its Private Members Club when you are not using it, here is what we offer you: For a period of 5 years, you will not be charged any fees whatsoever for maintenance, dockage, insurance and the professional crew who

We will ensure that the value and standard of your yacht will remain high, something which could not be guaranteed if you placed your yacht in a bareboat fleet.

Our guaranteed income program covers all of your repayments during the 5 year agreement if you take the finance option or guarantees your annual return if you purchase outright. Truly a no worry, no cost management agreement for your crewed yacht over the 5 year term.

At the end of the term, you can either sail off into that seductive sunset or sell your yacht with the help of TradeWinds sales team.

You now have two weeks a year onboard your yacht, fully crewed by a professional team (a certified Yacht Master Captain and a private chef & first mate), and all the food and drinks onboard for up to 10 guests.

Included for you and your guests is a Champagne Welcome served upon arrival to your yacht! Do you know of any other yacht company that offers anything like this? We don’t!
