A coming together of three artist-printmakers from Kent, each with their own discernible style: Kate Neame’s colourful, impressionistic screen prints and linocuts are inspired by the natural world, bridging the gap between realism and the abstract; the ‘lived-in’ faces of the recognisable, fl awed icons in Ben Dickson’s stylised linocuts convey a thousand words; Ieuan Edwards’ linocut work refl ects his industrial heritage and his interests in exploration, folklore and the human interaction with the rest of the animal kingdom. BRADFIELDS 30 JUNE–6 JULYThis exhibition showcases the magnifi cent work being produced by students at Bradfi elds Academy. Bradfi elds Academy is an innovative and forward-looking specialist SEND provision which provides education for students who experience complex learning disabilities and diffi culties [CLDD] including speech, language, emotional, sensory, physical and autistic spectrum disabilities.
MID KENT COLLEGEThe work in this exhibition was made by students in their fi rst year of specialist education from the Diploma in Art & Design, the Diploma in Graphic Design, the Diploma in Photography, the Extended Certifi cate in Art and Design and the Extended Certifi cate in Graphic Design courses.The work is taken from a range of diverse projects and approaches that are designed to equip the students with many of the fundamental aspects of art and design practice.

Carol Amis and Jenny Chissell have been exhibiting together for several years and have just completed their latest ‘walkabout’ covering places near and far. Although the work is quite individual it hangs well together.Exhibition Preview: Thursday 21 July, 6–8pm
