Welcome to the Third Annual Red Connection Bull Sale. The Bayer and Weber families are excited to again offer an outstanding set of stout made, good footed, high performing bulls for your consideration. Whether you are looking for a true calving ease bull or a new herd sire we believe these bulls are even better than last year’s offering and will work in a variety of settings.

All bulls will be ultra-sounded prior to the sale and a supplement sheet with carcass data, scrotal circumference and updated EPD’s will be available sale day.

High quality beef is in high demand and Red Angus cattle are more popular than ever. We are experiencing some great times as cattlemen. It is our hope that this set of bulls will assist your program in continuing that success.

Announcements:A supplemental update sheet will be avail-able sale day with up-to-date information. All announcements made from the auction block take precedence over printed matter in this sale book.

Breeding Guarantee:We guarantee all bulls to be breeders, however we do recommend that you have the bulls se-men tested a few weeks before you plan to turn them out. If after two tests a bull is found to be a non-breeder, we will provide a replacement bull or give credit toward next years sale. This guarantee is void if there is evidence of im-proper management or if the bull’s inability to breed is due to sickness or injury which incurred after the sale. The bull shall be returned by the purchaser or other arrangements made with us. Scrotal measurements and ultrasound data will be available on sale day.

Delivery:Bulls taken day of the sale will receive $50 off of the purchase price. If bulls cannot be taken sale day the seller can house bulls for free until April 1 and at a rate of $2/day after April 1. However, we will not be responsible for sickness or injury. Bulls can be delivered for free to buyers within a 300 mile radius. Outside of that area we can assist buyers with arranging transportation.

Export: All cattle guaranteed exportable to Canada.

Liability: All persons who attend this sale do so at their own risk, legal or otherwise, for their safety or the behavior of animals. The owners assume no liability for property loss or accident that may occur.

This is the fi rst set of Night Train calves we have had and we couldn’t be more pleased. They were our top #1 & #2 WW bulls this year. Lot 2 had an ADJ WW of 832 with a ratio of 113. If you want to maintain frame score while adding a ton of rib and muscle you need to own this bull. 555 was the anchor in our 2016 Champion Pen of 3 Bulls in Denver this year. His brother was a member last year. Power in the blood! We would like to retain a 1/4 semen interest.

We really like how Night Train calves have been working on our herd and this bull is a prime example. This calving ease bull is long bodied, stout made and rugged in his design with a tremendous amount of rib. He will make a great breading piece for heifers or cows. Make sure to keep females out of this bull because they will be worth keeping.

This Evolution son does everything right, he balances on paper and in person. He started with a 91 BW ratio and weaned at 773 with a ratio of 105. He will work in any program. I recommend keeping the heifers. If they carry an udder like his mother, you won’t mind calving heifers. This Conquest son will be an excellent heifer bull choice. He is in the top 11% of the breed for calving ease direct. With a 66 pound birth weight and a ration of 84.
